1. Whiskey Syrup.  Mix equal parts whiskey (bourbon and rye work nicely) and sugar. Stir in sugar to dissolve. Heat over medium flame until just before boiling point.  Remove from heat and allow to cool before use.  I used this batch to create an Amaro Sour.
